When you are unable to log in to your Google account, the first step is to re-enter your account details and password. If it doesn't work, you may be concerned since you are unable to access your email, calendar, photographs, files, contacts, and notes, as well as Android app purchases from the Google Play Store.

If you utilise a Google Workspace account for work, the next step is to contact the administrator. The administrator should be able to assist you with resetting your password and regaining access to your account by logging in to the Admin panel, heading to Directory | Users, selecting the account from the list, and selecting Reset Password.
If you have a normal Gmail account, you will have to go through the account recovery process yourself. To do so, gather as many devices as possible from which you have used your Google account and go to a location where you have frequently used these devices. When you try to recover access to your account from a commonly used device in an often used location, you are more likely to succeed than if you try to sign in to your account on a device you've never used before in a new location.
Try the Google account troubleshooter
Open the account troubleshooter (Figure A) on a device you've previously used with your Google account and choose the issue that best fits your scenario. In some circumstances, you may be asked to pick another choice. For example, if you pick You're Having Trouble With 2-Step Verification, the system will provide an extra menu where you may specify the precise verification issue. Follow the advised actions, which will differ depending on your account and situation.
